Summary
Horrible! The worst Philips product I ever bought.
Strength
Good Picture, thats it.
Weakness
Slow load and start.
Menu functions a bore to go thru for simple stuff like changing picture options.
Returned to Wal-mart the next day for being the noisiest DVD player ever.
Lots of servo and motor noise way above avarage. Lots of hum and vibration when disc is in play.
Sometimes reloaded disc twice to get it to smooth out. (transport problem)
Remote also had to be dead on aimed at the unit to work. My JVC remote can be aimed anywhere in the room and you could get it to change functions.
